CONTENT

 

The bill would amend the Michigan Liquor Control Code to permit a licensee to allow an individual 17 years of age or older to sell or serve alcoholic liquor if the licensee had an on-premises license and if both of the following conditions were met:

 

 --    The individual had completed a server training program as required under the Code and the rules promulgated by the Liquor Control Commission.

 --    During the individual's shift, the on-premises licensee had supervisory personnel who had completed a server training program and were 18 years of age or older.

 

The bill would take effect 90 days after its enactment.
