A bill to amend 1965 PA 203, entitled
"Michigan commission on law enforcement standards act,"
(MCL 28.601 to 28.615) by adding section 9e.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 9e. An individual who is issued a license under this act
must forward to the department of licensing and regulatory affairs
any allegation received by that individual that a health
professional licensed or registered under article 15 of the public
health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.16101 to 333.18838, has committed
any of the following acts:
(a) A violation of section 90 of the Michigan penal code, 1931
PA 328, MCL 750.90.
(b) A violation of section 145c of the Michigan penal code,
1931 PA 328, MCL 750.145c.
(c) A violation of sections 520b, 520c, 520d, 520e, or 520g of
the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.520b, 750.520c,
750.520d, 750.520e, and 750.520g.
(d) Any other criminal act involving sexual contact or sexual
penetration by that health professional. As used in this
subdivision, "sexual contact" and "sexual penetration" mean those
terms as defined in section 520a of the Michigan penal code, 1931
PA 328, MCL 750.520a.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
after the date it is enacted into law.
