SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5243

     A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled

"The social welfare act,"

(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 74c.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 74c. An enrolled provider shall not receive a child care

subsidy for providing child care services under this act if the

enrolled provider and the child reside in the same household and

the enrolled provider is not related to the child.

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect

unless House Bill No. 5838 of the 95th Legislature is enacted into

law.
