A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled
"The Michigan penal code,"
by amending section 466 (MCL 750.466), as amended by 2002 PA 672.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec.
466. (1) Any A
person who shall not knowingly
sell to
another
person any kind of drink or food product that he or she
knows or has reason to know is diseased, corrupted, or unwholesome
provisions,
whether for meat or drink, without making
the same
fully
known disclosing to the buyer that the drink or food product
is diseased, corrupted, or unwholesome.
(2) A person who violates this section is guilty of a
misdemeanor
felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1
year
4 years or a fine of not more than $1,000.00 $5,000.00, or
both.
