SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 4486

     A bill to repeal 1899 PA 188, entitled

"Michigan estate tax act,"

(MCL 205.201 to 205.256).

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Enacting section 1.  The Michigan estate tax act, 1899 PA 188,

MCL 205.201 to 205.256, is repealed effective January 1, 2007.
