SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 1448

                                                                             A bill to amend 1982 PA 295, entitled                                             

"Support and parenting time enforcement act,"                               

(MCL 552.601 to 552.650) by adding section 24b.                             

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 24b.  The title IV-D agency shall notify the child                     

2   support lien network, and may notify 1 or more additional                   

3   national child support information clearinghouses, of each payer            

4   who has a support arrearage in an amount that exceeds 2 times the           

5   monthly amount of periodic support payments payable under the               

6   payer's support order.

7       Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act takes effect                       

8   October 1, 2005.
