A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5748 AS INTRODUCED 2-26-02
House Bill 5748 would amend the Management and Budget Act to require the Department of Management and Budget to create a grant program that would provide funds to counties for the removal of dead animals from the roads under county jurisdiction. Under the bill, county officials could use the grant proceeds to remove dead animals, or to contract with another entity for the removal of dead animals.
