A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4516 AS INTRODUCED 3-22-01
House Bill 4516 would amend Public Act 51 of 1951, the Michigan Transportation Fund act, to require that the Department of Transportation install noise abatement measures along an existing portion of a limited access highway, if the noise level had increased to more than 70 decibels due to the improvements made on the highway, and if residential property were located 100 yards or less from the traveled portion of the highway.
