A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4456 AS INTRODUCED 4-13-99


The bill would amend the Social Welfare Act to require the Family Independence Agency, in conjunction with the State Police, to develop, implement, and provide a self-defense training program to all children's protective services caseworkers. In addition, the bill would require the Family Independence Agency to send no less than two caseworkers to complete any field investigations and home visits.
