A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5771 AS INTRODUCED 4-23-98


House Bill 5771 would amend the Michigan Transportation Fund Act to require the Department of Transportation to hold an annual educational forum in each county where 20 percent or more of the population is composed of minorities or minority groups. The forum would offer information and technical assistance to people who intend to compete for transportation contracts.
