The bills would amend various acts to replace references to repealed statutes with references to the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, and to delete references to other repealed statutes.
House Bill 5301 would amend the revenue Act. House Bill 5302 would amend Public Act 15 of 1959, which provides for the transfer of the collection of motor fuel taxes from the Secretary of State to the Department of Treasury. House Bill 5303 would amend the General Sales Tax Act. House Bill 5304 would amend the Use Tax Act. House Bill 5305 would amend the Michigan Estate Tax Act. House Bill 5306 would amend the Income Tax Act. House Bill 5307 would amend the motor fuel tax Act. House Bill 5308 would amend the General Property Tax Act.
House Bill 5309 would amend the Uniform Condemnation Procedures Act. House Bill 5310 (S-1) would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code. House Bill 5311 would amend the Drain Code; the bill also would replace references to the Water Resources Commission with references to the Department of Environmental Quality. House Bill 5312 would amend the Michigan Family Farm Development Act. House Bill 5313 would amend the Hazardous Substances Act.
House Bill 5314 would amend the Dog Law. House Bill 5315 would amend Public Act 280 of 1965, which regulates slaughterhouses. House Bill 5316 would amend Public Act 239 of 1982, which regulates animal food manufacturing plants, the disposal of dead animals, and poultry composting. House Bill 5317 would amend Public Act 189 of 1955, which regulates mink farms.
House Bill 5318 would amend the Public Health Code. House Bill 5319 would amend the Low-level Radioactive Waste Authority Act. House Bill 5320 would amend the School Code. The bill also would delete the requirement that facilities used in an educational program by a intermediate school board be acquired under Public Act 108 of 1969.
House Bill 5321 would amend the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act. House Bill 5322 would amend the Michigan Liquor Control Act. House Bill 5323 would amend the Uniform Commercial Code. House Bill 5324 would amend the beverage container deposit law. House Bill 5325 would amend the Michigan Consumer Protection Act. House Bill 5326 would amend the Public Service Commission enabling Act. House Bill 5327 would amend the Railroad Code. House Bill 5328 would amend the Motor Carrier Act. House Bill 5329 (S-1) would amend the Insurance Code. House Bill 5330 (S-1) would amend the Subdivision Control Act. House Bill 5331 (S-1) would amend the Revised Judicature Act. House Bill 5332 (S-1) would amend the Michigan Penal Code. House Bill 5333 (S-1) would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure. House Bill 5334 would amend the Crime Victim’s Rights Act. House Bill 5335 would amend Public Act 196 of 1989, which created the Criminal Assessments Commission and the Crime Victim’s Rights Fund. House Bill 5336 would amend the prison code.
