SUMMARY OF SENATE BILL 500 as introduced 5-3-95:

 

The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to provide that a truck tractor could haul up to four semitrailers to transport passengers on a train operated solely for sightseeing purposes. Under the Code, a truck tractor may not haul more than one trailer and one semitrailer or more than two trailers in combination at any one time, although exceptions apply to farm tractors and refuse haulers.
