About the Notification Service

What is the Notification Service?
Registered users of Michigan Legislature website can sign up to be notified when items of interest change or are added to this website. Notification will be in the form of an email sent to the participant when there is activity on the items they have chosen to "watch". The email will contain a link to the items of interest located on the Michigan Legislature website.
Participants can opt to be notified when new items are posted, such as calendars, journals, public acts, resolutions and concurrent resolutions. They can elect to be notified when changes occur in particular bills, joint resolutions, statutes, or selected chapters of the law. Notification of bill sponsorship by particular legislators or of bills introduced that involve chosen categories is also available.

How much does it cost?
The Notification Service is free to registered users of the Michigan Legislature website.

Who can use the Notification Service?
Anyone can register (for free) and use the services offered by the Michigan Legislature website as long as they follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
